Accounting Manager

We are seeking a high organized and detailed-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The responsibilities of this role include oversees the accounting department, managing post-accounting tasks and processing journal entries, reviewing bank account balances, and planning daily and monthly payments. Additionally, you will be responsible for approving reconciliations for banks and suppliers, managing outstanding payments, and performing bank transfers. This role also involves handling daily correspondence with banks and suppliers, approving month-end and year-end closing processes, leading internal financial audits, and coordinating with external auditors during the preparation of financial statements.

Candidates must possess a university degree in accounting or finance, or hold a Professional Accountancy qualification, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Essential skills include strong team management, organizational abilities, effective time management, communication skills, and multitasking. Experience with Danaos ERP and MS Office software, knowledge of IFRS, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are also required.
