Maritime Risk Group is seeking a full-time, talented, proactive, detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to seamlessly undertake administrative and supportive tasks for our Group, contributing to the success of our team.

Maritime Risk Group (MRG) stands as an innovative academic research group operating for over a decade under the esteemed guidance of Professor Nikolaos Ventikos at the prestigious School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. Our research endeavours encompass a wide spectrum of fields, including maritime safety and security, risk analysis, life cycle analysis, sustainability, environmental protection, green shipping, port operations and offshore activities, alternative fuels and renewable energy systems, air emissions, autonomous ships, human factors, cyber security, and more. Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively support the day-to-day operations of the Group.
- Efficiently manage the Group’s calendar, scheduling, organizing and coordinating meetings, appointments, events, etc.
- Handle travel arrangements, including itineraries and accommodations, for the team members.
- Manage, draft and refine correspondence, reports and other important documents, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Assist the team with daily administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Contribute to various projects and initiatives, gaining valuable insights into the Group activities.
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Engineering from a Greek or equivalent University recognized by DOATAP.
- Registration with the Technical Chamber of Greece.
- Excellent verbal and written command of Greek and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Experience in EU and/or National funded research projects will be considered an asset.
