Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant Job Specs:

Location:      Athens or Dublin - (English Speaking Position)

Reports to:   Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:  

• Monitor bookkeeping team
• Preparation and Review of Accounting Entries
• Financial Reporting Analysis
• Management Accounts Preparation
• Participation in month end and Year End processes

Qualifications:            

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in an Audit and/or Accounting department
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with IFRS is essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Supplier payment verification and authorisation
• Running supplier payments
• Originator account reconciliations
•  Profit and loss analysis, fluctuation analysis from last few years to current.
•  Balance Sheet analysis, fluctuation analysis from last few years to current
•  Analysis of Fixed Asset Register
• Filing bi-monthly VAT return
