A well-established ship management company with North European principals that manages a modern fleet of bulk carriers, seeks to employ a Junior Technical Superintendent.
The Junior Technical Superintendent will be responsible for assisting in the technical management and maintenance of vessels, monitoring and ensuring the validity of vessels' certificates, arranging Class Surveys, communicating with the Flag Administration, arranging LSA-FFE inspections, following up defect reports and job order lists and monitoring the compliance of the Technical Department with related SMS procedures.
Shipboard attendances and inspections along with relevant reporting to the Technical Superintendent is also part of the position related duties.
The right candidate must hold a Degree in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering or “Class C” Marine Engineer License, be fluent in English and have a previous experience of minimum 1 year either in a similar office position or sea service as 3rd Engineer.
