The Role

Our team is growing, and we are looking to recruit an Accountant with tax and labor law knowledge, to join our team. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances, contributing to the overall efficient operation of the Accounting & Finance department. This role requires proactiveness, multi-tasking work and commitment to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by posting and processing journal entries for all business transactions.
  • Handle the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Conduct bank and creditor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and timely execution of bank payments.
  • Handle the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations by preparing VAT statements, MyData reports, and other tax-related filings in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Handle payroll calculation and processing, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educational Background: BSc degree from TEI/AEI in Accounting or similar field
  •  Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting department.
  • Technical & IT Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems, very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, time management skills, analytical skills, attention to details, ability to work in a team.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
