Junior IT Specialist

Goldenport Shipmanagement LTD is currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior IT Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Junior IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure both on-premise and on vessels. You will work closely with our IT team to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the implementation of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Assist in the maintenance and administration of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Monitor and respond to IT service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
• Support IT infrastructure on-premise and on vessels.
• Assist in the implementation and deployment of new IT projects and initiatives.Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, networks, and cybersecurity basics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Previous experience in an IT support role is a plus.
