Shipping company based in Glyfada currently operating a diverse fleet of product tankers and bulk carriers, is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant.
Main duties of the role:
- prepare advanced entries along with proper documentation and workings
- OPEX & TCE reports preparation / variance analysis against peers
- Cash Flow projections
- timely deliveries of reports requested by financiers and auditors (big4)
- Participation in yearend books closing and Financial Statements preparation
Ideal candidate is expected to have:
- bachelor degree in Accounting or in a related field from a recognized university
- Five to ten years of experience in a similar senior position within the shipping industry or audit firm
- Good knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting framework
