Jobistas is currently seeking on behalf of its client, a market leader at the corporate gift sector, an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Proposal & Buying Team at its Athens office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing supplier relationships, preparing client proposals, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the corporate and promotional gift industry.

No prior experience in the sector is required, as full training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management: Assist in preparing detailed and customized proposals based on client needs. Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and align them with available products and services.
  • Supplier Coordination: Communicate with both local and international suppliers (including China and Europe) to source high-quality products. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and order terms to meet project budgets and timelines.
  • Product Sourcing and Buying: Research and identify new suppliers and product categories to expand the company’s offerings. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of samples and finalized orders.
  • Client Interaction Support: Collaborate with the sales team to gather client feedback and refine proposals accordingly. Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet quality standards.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of proposals, orders, and supplier details. Update the CRM system with client and supplier interactions.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, product innovations, and competitive offerings to provide the best solutions to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the sales team and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Support cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek. Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, sales teams, and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and time-management skills to handle multiple proposals and orders simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing product specifications, pricing, and order details.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset to address challenges and find solutions independently or as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to learn quickly and adapt to the fast-paced corporate gifting industry.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Willingness to learn CRM tools and other relevant software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, supply chain, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Fluency in English and Greek; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Turkish) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn about sourcing and the corporate gifting industry.
