Compliance Officer

A Ship Management Company seeks to fill the position of Compliance Officer with 3-5 years’ equivalent experience in a shipping compliance and insurance environment.  The role involves the day-to-day handling of all KYC – Due Diligence reviews and checks from inception to completion, pertaining to the company’s owned and chartered in vessels, as well as administrative support to the company’s legal and compliance manager. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and PC literacy are required. The candidate must be proactive and focused on delivery and problem-solving attitude and have the ability to work in a global work environment with a dispersed team around the world.  The working environment is fast paced, agile and highly results orientated so the individual must be comfortable working within this type of dynamic environment and must be comfortable with working autonomously and have a good level of commercial awareness.  All CV’s will be treated with utmost discretion.
