Hotel Manager (Kos)

Job Description

• Participating in drafting the budget and monitoring its implementation
• Supervising work at all levels and establishing clear objectives for the team
• Planning activities and assigning responsibilities to create the most efficient operating model, maximizing the hotel's results while ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Developing and implementing an intuitive and effective strategy to promote the hotel's services
• Researching new products or services that could enhance the hotel's offerings and improve its ranking within the sector
• Conducting regular facility inspections to ensure strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards
• Managing hotel renovation and expansion projects, including planning, budgeting, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion   

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field
• Experience managing a hotel and a large team of staff.
• Fluency in Greek and English language, knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage
• Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff members and vendors.
• Approachable demeanor and highly developed people skills
• Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail
• The ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation.
• Promote a positive atmosphere in the hotel while maintaining a professional culture
