Junior Crew Operator

AVIN INTERNATIONAL LTD, seeks to employ a Junior Crew Operator to ensure the manning of vessels with the appropriate personnel. 

Main Responsibilities

• Maintains up to date Flag endorsements and STCW, medical, training records and certificates of all seafarers
• Keeps a well-established network of industry contacts including manning agencies
• Conducts interviews and screens the qualifications and experience of new recruits
• Keeps in touch and maintains good relationships with the seafarers with constant communication during their service of after their disembarkation

Candidate Profile

• Familiarity with STCW regulations, crew nationalities, local regulations and certification requirements
• Proficient in English, with strong computer literacy
• Maximum 3 years of experience in a similar position

A University degree, preferably in Shipping, will be considered an asset.
