Accountant

Old established ‘Law 89’ SHIP – MANAGEMENT Company based in Glyfada seeks experienced and qualified ACCOUNTANT to join its Financial Division. The ideal candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience, preferably in a shipping environment and should be fluent in English, computer literate, capable to work with minimum supervision in a team focused environment. Good Knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards & Danaos accounting software is a prerequisite.

Main responsibilities:

• Record of accounting entries
• Responsible for Year-End close process
• Filling and submission of Tax declarations (VAT, Tonnage Tax, Withholding taxes etc)
• MyData Monitoring
