Technical Assistant

We are looking for young and enthusiastic technical assistant to support our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in following up maintenance, repairs, and operation of ship’s machineries.
• Assist in following up and provide advice to crew related to planned maintenance programs.
• Interaction with service providers/classification societies teams/flag teams.
• Assist in following up requisitions from vessels.
• Purchasing of spare parts.
• Monitoring of spare parts inventory.
• Reporting to Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Background in marine engineering / diploma in marine engineering (Chief Engineer or Engineer officer).
• Capability to work and follow up on Benefit® software and Noon reports analysis for data collection as per latest rules applied (IMO Fuel reporting for data collection).
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft® applications.
• Ability to take and execute instructions/tasks.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• To work in team, and ability to work solo when necessary.
• To be motivated.
• To be easily mobilized.
• Ability to work on the go and report to Technical Manager briefly and fluently.
