Marlink’s global presence has an expanding operation in Greece, and we would like to increase our sales efforts in the maritime satcom and IT arena. Our sales team consists of 4 dedicated colleagues, and we would like it to be 6. Marlink is focused on hybrid satcom solutions and services, especially in the maritime industry. We are working as a team and new members are quickly brought up to speed.
Responsibilities and selected work tasks:
- Achieve profitable growth in your customer base and achieve agreed sales targets
- Report on progress in sales project, customer satisfaction and plans
- Develop business relations with existing customers and potential customers within the region
- Increase Marlink brand awareness and positioning
- VSAT/ 4G/Integrating LEO-MEO/Certus + IT, Security and IoT
- Connectivity, Network, IT-Cloud, Cyber & Bridgelink IOT
- Advising management on market competitive landscape in the region and be a Marlink ambassador
Qualifications and personal skills:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or similar, experience can compensate for lack of education
- Able to optimize customers satisfaction and Marlink sales performance
- Self-motivated and structured
- Self-reliant and proactive
- Curious and persistent
- Understanding of sales processes and long-term customer handling
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a structured fashion
- “Tech”l interest and understanding is preferred
- Fluent in Greek and English language skills, oral and written

Our corporate language is English, but we mostly speak Greek locally at the headquarters in Piraeus. The position reports to Commercial Director Greece and Cyprus.
