HSQE Coordinator

A leading shipping company based in Voula, with a modern fleet of bulk carriers, is looking for a HSQE Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO/RISQ3/DryBMS/PSC/FLAG requirements.
• Plan and coordinate Company’s and Fleet external and internal audits, flag state and Rightship inspections
• Analyze deficiencies, incidents, and near-misses, providing corrective actions and coordinating company's preventive actions
• Monitor fleet compliance with Company’s SMS procedures on a monthly basis.
• Update and maintain the HSQE database related to Incidents, Accidents, Near Misses, Non-Conformities, and Suggestions for Improvement
• Attend the Management Review Meeting and prepare quarterly Management Review Meeting (MRM) reports on HSQE programs
• Revise the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) manuals following DPA guidelines and ensure updates are communicated to vessels
• Follow up the “Management of Change” process

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Maritime Studies or a Mariner diploma.
• 2-3 years of experience in HSQE Department and good knowledge of ISM/ ISPS/ MLC /Flag/ Rightship/ Crew Welfare and PSC matters.
• Proficiency in the use of PMS / ERP and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and team player.
