Distribution Analyst
 

Job description:

• Analyze distribution data to spot trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on KPIs.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
• Forecast demand by communicating with distributors and stakeholders; assess stock levels and recommend replenishments or withdrawals.
• Maintain and update data systems and databases.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to identify and resolve distribution issues.
• Use statistical techniques in Excel and Python to analyze data.
• Recommend product quantity allocations per point of sale or distribution channel based on market performance.
• Communicate with distributors to resolve stock and distribution-related issues.

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Distribution Analyst or in a similar role.
• Fluency in English both written and verbally
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in cost analysis and budget management.
• Strong skills in project management.
