Operator

A shipping company in Glyfada with a modern fleet of bulk carriers is seeking an Operator to join their team. The role's responsibilities include handling operations, charter party, voyage instructions, vessel performance, and cargo claims. Communicate with the ship owner, charterers, and other third parties, manage ship cargo operations, monitor vessel performance and fuel consumption, prepare freight and hire debit notes, and monitor agents, disbursement accounts, port information, prospects, and payments

Candidates must hold a university degree in maritime studies or a Master’s diploma, along with 5 years of relevant experience. They should possess strong leadership, team management, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Danaos, MS Office, and industry standards, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
