Junior Accountant / Assistant

A shipping company in Glyfada with a modern fleet of bulk carriers is seeking a Junior Accountant/Assistant to join their team. The responsibilities of the role include maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, inputting invoice data, preparing payments, reconciliation of suppliers and agents, collecting MGA and invoices information from other departments, and assisting with various accounting processes.

Candidates must hold a university degree in accounting or finance studies and/or Professional Accountancy qualification, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in team management, organization, time-management, communication, and multitasking are essential. Experience with Danaos, MS Office and ERP software, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential skills.
