Shipping company seeks to recruit a Chief Accounting Officer for a one-year contract.
Duties:
- Maintain and enhance cash-flow reporting systems
- provide financial advice to Management;
- prepare treasury reports, manage cash and bank balances, oversee interest rate and currency derivatives (swaps), and maintain relationships with financial institutions;
- monitor loan compliance, and prepare new loan requests in consultation with the Management and legal advisors;
- liaise with auditors in the preparation of financial statements.
The successful candidate must hold a university degree in Finance, Business Economics or an equivalent, at least three years of experience in a similar position in the maritime industry.
