SHIPPING COMPANY based in Piraeus managing a fleet of Bulk Carriers is seeking to employ HEAD OF CREW.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Day to day running of the crewing department.
- Liaise with manning and port agents.
- Plan and execute the crew changes.
- Arrange air tickets and ensure that seafarers are always safely transferred and on time.
- Monitoring the documents and licenses validity.
- Keep records for personal details, medical and training certificates.
Qualification requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a ship management company or a manning agent.
- Good knowledge of the MLC and stew provisions.
- Fluency in English (both written and oral).
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Danaos platform.
