Accountant

(Cholargos)

Job Description

• Handling daily accounting bookkeeping records and preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Review journal entries/accounts, on a monthly basis to support monthly reporting tax declarations, monthly vat declarations, and other tax-related matters
• Assist in annual audits and external audits
• Handle the work related to issue invoices and billings
• Handle the work related to receivables, payables, and funds, and contact accounting firms and banks
• Optimize and improve the accounting and taxation management process in daily work, to ensure the accounting and taxation work is completed timely and efficiently, with accuracy and compliance as well other tasks assigned to the accounting department

Candidate’s Profile

• University degree in accounting or finance
• 2-3 years of experience in the aspect of Tax, Banking, and Account
• Excellent computer knowledge (especially Microsoft Office) plus the ability to work with accounting software
• Fluency in English and Greek
• Organized and pro-active attitude
• Great communication skills
• Problem solving skills
