Therefore, on behalf of our client, the leading electric utility, we are seeking to recruit an Entra Identity Engineer

  • Analyze, design, implement, and support the hybrid on-prem and cloud Active Directory environment and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to integrate systems and applications with centralized authentication such as Active Directory or Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge and expertise on Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID Directory synchronization.
  • Managing and optimizing Entra Connect systems, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise software. The role also involves leveraging Cloud Sync for efficient and secure data synchronization across various cloud platforms
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Azure policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID environments
  • Implement security baselines and recommended security best practices on centralized authentication platforms such as Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Security Baselines. This includes the ability to implement, manage, and maintain Microsoft-recommended security configuration settings across various systems
  • Perform regular health checks and proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid negative impacts to production systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Proven experience in identity and access management
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols
  • Knowledge of identity management systems, such as Active Directory or Okta
  • Familiarity with network and security infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
