Therefore, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Commercial Director.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to add value to our Client’s development activities by identifying new business opportunities and directing marketing efforts. You will be kept informed about market trends and conditions to provide strategic advice to senior management. An exceptional Commercial Director has a business mindset and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will also have creative strategic thinking with excellent organisational abilities. The goal is to promote and expand the company's commercial activities, generating revenue and leading to sustainable growth.

The role:

  • Monitoring the market and analysing trends in the areas of business focus
  • Identifying new business opportunities, evaluating their business potential, approaching directly or with company executives manufacturers, and pitching new partnerships
  • Web searching, participating in congresses, developing a network to identify new opportunities and evaluating them with internal and external subject matter experts
  • Building and maintaining relationships, keeping track of business development projects, being capable of winning and negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Providing timely and comprehensive reports on marketing & sales plans
  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to plan, train, and lead launching projects
  • Establishing, maintaining, and managing relationships with new and current partners

Requirements

  • Experience within the Medical Devices Industry is a must
  • Experience in business development, sales, marketing, and/or related fields
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance standards within the industry
  • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on opportunities
  • Experience in web market research identifying leads, sources, and opportunities
  • Commercial relevant studies combined with working experience, at least 2-4 years in the Med tech industry and/or similar sector
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in Project Management to accomplish business objectives
  • Critical thinking and appropriate decision-making when exploiting opportunities
  • Interpersonal skills of problem-solving, communication, negotiation, teamwork, and agility
  • High level of business acumen in both administration and strategic business orientation
  • In-depth knowledge of the global medical devices business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Adobe Products/Internet tools
  • Computer literacy and ability to travel for business purposes
