A well-established ship management company with North European principals that manages a modern fleet of bulk carriers and is located in Alimos, seeks to employ a Superintendent Engineer for its Technical Department. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the monitoring of the technical management, the planned maintenance and the related day-to-day operations of the assigned fleet, coordinating repairs and dry-dockings, following up fleet projects onboard and ashore as instructed by the Technical Manager and monitoring compliance with Class and Safety regulations. Shipboard attendances and inspections along with relevant reporting to the Technical Manager is also part of the position related duties.
The right candidate must hold a Degree in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering or Marine Engineer License of any Class, be fluent in English and have a previous experience of minimum 3 years in a similar office position.
