Business Development Manager

Job Description

• Build a strong network with all food retailers in Greece at all levels from HQ to store level
• Depending on the DRS final design, municipalities might also be customers
• Win business with independent and smaller retailers
• Position the brand of company as one of the leading suppliers of reverse vending machines in Greece
• Build a strong sales pipeline for the incoming DRS (Deposit Return Scheme)
• Be able to educate about reverse vending machines and deposit return schemes
• Frequent travels within Greece and travels to other counties occasionally
• The right candidate might take the position as the Country Manager
• Establish the Greek office, recruiting the employees and partners for accounting etc.

Candidate’s Profile

• Fluent in English oral and written
• Proven sales and business development experience
• Experience in technical sales and in selling high value capital equipment
• Strong networker and communicator at all levels
• Key account management experience
• Prior experience selling to food-retailers in Greece
• Good administrative knowledge and order handling process experience
• Experience/knowledge of recycling would be beneficial but not essential
• Higher education or degree preferable
• An ability to understand the technical side of the product offering is essential
• Solution led sales approach  driving license
• Must be willing to travel in Greece
• Manager Experience in case Country Manager
• Fluent in English oral and written
