IT Specialist for Maritime Shipping Management

Safety Management Overseas S.A., a leading shipping management company, based in Voula Athens, is looking to develop an IT Specialist who aims at joining our dynamic IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operations and security of the IT infrastructure, systems and data on our fleet vessels and within company premises.
• Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers for resolving hardware, software, and network communications
• The position requires mainly office-based work but also international travel (when required) to our vessels and other company locations

Requirements:

• University degree either in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Cyber Security
• Proven shipping industry IT experience (will be considered an asset)
• Familiarity &/or knowledge of Danaos ERP (will be considered a plus)
• Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
